Jenny & Aaron’s Wedding (Part 1 – The Shot Spot)

This past week I had the pleasure to travel out to Washington State to photograph Jenny and Aaron’s wedding! I flew in on Wednesday along with my awesome team/entourage of Eric Kelley and Thomas Dalton who I want to thank for helping make everything a great success! The first couple of days we had the chance wander around Seattle and chill out before we went down to the Olympia and Tacoma area for the wedding. I will try to give more details about our experiences in Seattle in my next post, but for those of you who are dying to know: no, it wasn’t raining – it was actually quite nice, and yes, coffee is considered a food group there!:)

It was truly awesome to be a part of Jenny and Aaron’s wedding and experience it as more than just a photographer, but as a friend with a camera! I had the amazing opportunity to not only get to know Jenny and Aaron better, but also their family and friends who I look forward to staying in touch with and being life long friends! I am sad that everything went by so fast, but looking forward to sharing the pictures with everyone and hopefully returning soon!

The first pictures I want to share with you are from the Shot Spot (my version of a photobooth) which was a huge hit! There were so many great pictures that I put them into a little slideshow to show a quick glimpse of all the fun! Enjoy and stay tuned for some more awesome pictures from throughout Jenny and Aaron’s Wedding to come!

It was great to meet you all. I’m glad I had the privilege of driving you all around and getting you know you better. I think you did a great job! Can’t wait to see the rest of the pictures.

This was one of the best days of our lives! Thanks Aaron, Eric and Thomas for capturing a most memorable day (weekend). We can’t wait to see the rest of the pictures!

What a free flowing shoot! The expressions are amazing, even those who may not have been into the idea of being so open to the camera seemed warm to it! That’s so difficult. They seem to be teasing it to catch them in the act of their open expressions. I went through the slideshow twice. So airy and real. What a wonderful way to remember everyone from such a memorable day.
