Charlottesville Family Photography – Henry’s Studio Portraits

Last week we had the pleasure of hosting Audrey, Andrew and one and a half year old Henry at the studio for their family portrait session. Henry brought some of his toys and his books to play with, and some of the pictures of him reading made for some of my favorite shots!
We found out that Audrey is a great singer, and that Henry loves it when she sings to him. It always made him smile, so we sang a lot! I even joined in on a few verses of the itsy bitsy spider.Another neat thing we found out about their family is that Audrey and Andrew taught Henry baby sign language. I am always amazed by baby sign language, it just blows my mind babies can communicate before they can talk. Henry showed us a few of his signs, like the one with his hand up to his mouth in the last picture, which means ‘thank you’. It was absolutely adorable.
