You were recently introduced to the fun personalities of Liz and Eric when we showed you pictures from their engagement session in Richmond VA at Maymont. The fun continues with their wedding last weekend at Delfosse Vineyards! I loved the look of the log cabin where Liz got ready, and the pictures of Liz putting on her dress look great with the rustic background. They had a purple color scheme, from Liz’s purple shoes to the groom and groomsmen’s purple bow ties, with awesome argyle socks in between. That pop of color looked great in the pictures, and as you will see tomorrow, continued to be featured throughout the day.
True to form, Liz and Eric’s first look was romantic, funny and beautiful. The pictures of the two of them overlooking Delfosse are breathtaking, and so sweet. I love the one of the two of them sharing a kiss while they are sitting in the tall grass with Liz’s dress spread out beside them. Wedding Photographer Charlottesville VA – Delfosse Vineyards – Liz & Eric’s Wedding Part 2 » Aaron Watson Photography Blog – Charlottesville, Va - [...] Liz and Eric’s wedding at Delfosse Vineyard continues with a beautiful ceremony officiated by the wonderful Claire Goodman. Then two of their friends sang “One Hand, One Heart” from West Side Story, which I think is one of the most beautiful songs ever. West Side Story also happens to be one of my favorite movies of all time. Anyway, back to the joyful union of Liz and Eric! After the ceremony they took the bridal party portraits, and everyone rose to the occasion and thought of some clever ideas for pictures. I love the one of the groomsmen peeking out through the holes in the vines, and the pictures Aaron took of Liz and Eric together in the vineyard are absolutely amazing. The reception, held in the tasting room, had many unique aspects. One of these was the soda ‘Fizzy Lizzy’ that the guests enjoyed throughout the day; a fun reference to the bride. Also, Liz and Eric love to dance, Eric would even visit Liz at college to attend their swing club dances! Many of their friends in the club (some of which are competitive ballroom dancers) were at the wedding, so needless to say, the dancing during the reception was top notch! At the end of the evening Liz and Eric walked through their family and friends yielding sparklers to the log cabin where Liz started the day. The happy couple left the next day for their honeymoon at the Playa Del Carmen. Congratulations to Liz and Eric! [...]
