Bridesmaid Dresses of Many Colors – Charlottesville Wedding Photography

I get excited to see many parts of a wedding; the bride’s dress and the bride’s shoes being two of the mvp’s, but I also get excited to see the bridesmaids dresses. There are so many different colors and styles of bridesmaids dresses, and I have actually never seen a repeat style the whole time I have been an assistant wedding photographer for Aaron. The bride’s dress is featured a lot on blogs (rightly so), but I thought it would be neat to showcase a few bridesmaids dresses for a little change of pace. (They do have their own movie after all!)
When I was going back and choosing the pictures to share with you, I was amazed by the variety of colors of bridesmaids dresses that we’ve photographed. There has been everything from yellow to purple, to a color I can’t quite put a name to, (the closest I can come is slate, which doesn’t seem elegant enough), but it’s one of my favorite colors for bridesmaid dresses. There has even been a bold floral pattern theme of repurposed vintage fabric. I have never seen that done before, and the dresses were beautifully made and perfectly matched the theme for the wedding.
