I get excited to see many parts of a wedding; the bride’s dress and the bride’s shoes being two of the mvp’s, but I also get excited to see the bridesmaids dresses. There are so many different colors and styles of bridesmaids dresses, and I have actually never seen a repeat style the whole time I have been an assistant wedding photographer for Aaron. The bride’s dress is featured a lot on blogs (rightly so), but I thought it would be neat to showcase a few bridesmaids dresses for a little change of pace. (They do have their own movie after all!)
When I was going back and choosing the pictures to share with you, I was amazed by the variety of colors of bridesmaids dresses that we’ve photographed. There has been everything from yellow to purple, to a color I can’t quite put a name to, (the closest I can come is slate, which doesn’t seem elegant enough), but it’s one of my favorite colors for bridesmaid dresses. There has even been a bold floral pattern theme of repurposed vintage fabric. I have never seen that done before, and the dresses were beautifully made and perfectly matched the theme for the wedding. I hope these are helpful in inspiring color ideas to brides who are deciding on their bridesmaids dresses, and if you’re not a bride, enjoy the pretty colors!

Rachelle - Hmmmm this is a toughy, but I would have to say the beautiful bridesmaids in the lavender one shoulder dresses
Patricia - Wonderful pictures and beautiful dresses! I can’t say that some bridesmaid dresses are more beautiful than others because all of them are special. The red ones looks like the Alfred Angelo bridesmaid dresses we wore at my best fried wedding. Very elegant and stylish!
