Today we are going to share some pictures of the details from Ellen and Don’s wedding! Ellen and Don chose to have their intimate weekday wedding at L’Auberge Provencale, a beautiful country inn just a little ways from Washington DC. I wanted to be sure and do a post that just focused on details because I was so impressed with all the little touches they thought of. I loved the hand painted heart signs with Ellen and Don’s names and their wedding date. I was also completely swept away by the gorgeous tiny carriage that held their rings! It reminded me of Cinderella, which I found out later was definitely intended because Ellen and Don love everything Disney, and were originally going to have their ceremony at Disney World. They incorporated a little more Disney in their wedding by having Mickey and Minnie Mouse reside on a small table close by during their ceremony.
After the ceremony Ellen and Don exchanged gifts. She gave him a fancy pocket watch and he gave her a beautiful pearl necklace. After they admired their presents, they took portraits with Aaron and then headed inside to cut the cake! Stay tuned for more of their wedding photographs, coming soon!
