Today we are sharing Part 2 of Laura and Ryan’s wedding at the College of William and Mary. Earlier this month I showed you many of the unique details that were a part of their wedding, and now you can see more of their beautiful wedding pictures taken by associate photographer Ron Dressel and Cade Bowman on behalf of Aaron Watson Photography!
Laura and Ryan had their first look on the Crim Dell bridge on William and Mary’s campus, which also happened to be the place Ryan proposed! It was a beautiful moment, especially because the bridge holds so much meaning to them. They then went to Wren Chapel for their ceremony, and afterwards Laura and Ryan threw the frisbee around with their bridal party. Laura did not let the fact that she was wearing a wedding gown stop her from jumping up and making some incredible catches, all the while holding her train to keep it off the ground. I was very impressed with her skills. After the frisbee game, they had their reception at William and Mary’s Alumni House. They had so much fun dancing with their guests and hearing the heartfelt toasts from the maid of honor, Laura’s sister, and the best man, Ryan’s brother. Laura’s dad also gave a terrific toast, in which he told the story of what happened when Ryan called to ask for Laura’s hand. When Ryan called the house and asked for Laura’s dad, her dad admitted he was a bit distracted and didn’t recognize the phone number on the caller id so he wasn’t paying attention when Ryan identified himself. He still wasn’t sure who he was speaking to a few minutes into the conversation when Ryan asked permission to marry his daughter. In Laura’s dad’s confusion he asked “which one?”
The fun times didn’t stop there and shortly after the toasts it was time for the bouquet toss. Now let me tell you, this was one of the most intense bouquet tosses I have ever seen. The single ladies at Laura’s wedding really wanted to catch that bouquet! However, it all ended well and everyone gathered outside to send Laura and Ryan off amidst a sea of bubbles! We want to say a big thanks to Ron Dressel and his second photographer Cade Bowman for their amazing job capturing all these beautiful wedding photographs!
