Family Portrait Photography for the Holidays!

We have a festive Family Portrait session for you today! Meet Alyssa, Emma, Mary, James, Mya, Isabella, and their parents, Marlette and Benjamin. They took their whole family to Keswick Hall for their family photographs. It is a perfect location for Holiday portraits. Keswick Hall is decorated with Christmas trees, bows, lights, etc. for the season and taking pictures there definitely gets you in the Christmas Spirit! Their family was all smiles as they explored Keswick Hall and found all the fun things they could get into, including a big red sleigh!

Deanna & Dan’s Wedding Album – Maryland Wedding

We are very happy to be sharing Deanna and Dan’s wedding album with you today! There were so many beautiful wedding photographs from their wedding, and we think that the pictures they chose do a wonderful job of telling the story of their day. They picked a good mix of detail pictures, wedding portraits and candid moments so you can really feel what it was like to be a part of their wedding! The energy that flowed throughout their wedding comes through in the pictures, especially in the pages with the cake cutting and garter toss. You can tell that family is very important to Deanna and Dan, they chose pictures of them with their family from every part of their wedding. I also love how they chose to include a few pictures of the congratulatory hugs they got after the ceremony. We are so excited for Deanna and Dan to have their album, just in time for the Holidays!

Family Photography – Time Period Inspiration Shoot

Today we are sharing a few pictures from a family photography session Aaron did with Paula, Cody, Kayla and Savannah. Paula was inspired by the 1940′s, and she did her hair in the classic 40′s style and picked out clothing for her and her family that reflected fashion from that time period. She was going for a more serious and moody feel to the pictures, so Aaron shot the session in black and white, and they kept straight faces for a lot of the photographs. They chose to have the session at the Humpback Rock Visitor’s Center, and even though the buildings aren’t from the 1940′s (Aaron joked it was a 1940s meets the 1840s session) they still added to the overall feel of what Paula was looking for. It was a great setting for black and white pictures, the log cabins and fences and stone buildings look amazing! I was really impressed by how well their whole family stayed in character throughout the shoot, even the girls played their parts perfectly!
