Friday, June 30th. You may remember this as the day that an unexpected storm swept the East coast, taking away thousands of people’s power as it passed. For Tiffany and PJ it was the eve of their wedding day, the day they had been planning for months and months. They were so excited for the wedding that they weren’t going to let a little bad weather get in their way! Pippin Hill lost power but, due to smart planning, had a generator and were fully prepared to make Tiffany and PJ’s wedding everything they had hoped for.
And it was! There was such charm and vibrance in the details and decor of their wedding! Shawn Cossette of Beehive Events did an amazing job on the flowers, mixing textures and colors to create beautiful centerpieces. The wedding cake, done by the fabulous Albemarle Baking Company, was my personal favorite! It was a classic white cake with the lyrics to their first dance written in icing around the sides of the cake. Tiffany and PJ were so funny as they fed each other their first bites; I think more cake made it on their faces than in their mouths! Another funny moment I must mention was when Tiffany’s dad stood up to give a toast. He pulled out a scroll on which he had written his speech and read it with great enthusiasm. The speech was humorous as well as touching and a perfect tribute to Tiffany and PJ. It was such an honor to photograph Tiffany and PJ’s wedding and to see their joy as they begin their life together!

The ring bearer and flower girl were adorable and they weren’t too shy to get the dancing started!
