There are so many aspects that go into planning a wedding. The location, the decorations and the traditions are carefully chosen to reflect the couple and their love for each other. Sam and Greg did this by creating an amazing fairytale atmosphere at their wedding reception. I love that they personalized their day and did things their way! For example, Sam and Greg don’t like cake, so instead they had wedding pie! I also love how they incorporated their love of wine into the reception details by creating a card box made of corks and a painting of vines on which guests could leave their thumbprints. It tied in perfectly with Keswick Vineyards! In addition, Sam, being the great wife that she is, surprised Greg with a cigar table in the gazebo!
Another unique tradition was the Polish wedding dance. This is where the bride goes to the dance floor and the guests form a line and pay money (collected by the bridesmaids) for a chance to briefly dance with the bride. When the bride starts to get tired, the groom will fight to get her back and carry her off the dance floor. It was so much fun to photograph and we were really impressed by Sam’s endurance to dance with so many people!
As you can tell it was such an amazing night. Congratulations Sam and Greg! Thank you for having us be a part of your special day!
