Allison & Alec’s Richmond Wedding – Part 1

weddings in richmond

We shared Allison’s beautiful bridal portraits last week and today we are excited to show more of Allison, now with her husband, Alec at their Richmond Wedding! Allison and Alec are so great together and we loved being a part of their wedding. The ceremony at Westminster Presbyterian was simply stunning. With a long aisle, big windows, and tall ceilings, it was the perfect place to get married. After they said their vows, exchanged rings and a had their first kiss, the officiant announced them as husband and wife and the church was filled with the sounds of an organ and trumpets! Applause broke out as Allison and Alec walked out together with the biggest smiles on their faces! It was so wonderful and the joy continued throughout the night. We can’t wait to show you their grand reception at The Commonwealth Club tomorrow!

Crystal & Ryan’s Charlottesville Engagement Session

Charlottesville engagement session

We are especially excited to share this Charlottesville engagement session with you today, not only because we love the pictures, but Crystal and Ryan are close friends of ours and we are so happy to be photographing their wedding next June! Ryan is a good friend of Aaron’s from college and Crystal works part time as a graphic designer for us (and designed our Aaron Watson Photography t-shirts that you will see them sporting at the end of the post)!

Crystal and Ryan got engaged at Carter Mountain Orchard last October so it was only fitting for them to have their engagement session there. Between the lush orchard and the open fields, there was no shortage of great spots for pictures. Crystal and Ryan are such a creative couple and had the idea of creating red paper hearts to use in some of the pictures. It looked awesome and added a fun and romantic aspect to the pictures. We can’t wait to share what other creative ideas they are going to have for their wedding! Until then, enjoy some of our favorites from their engagement session!

Leslie & Ben’s Charlottesville Wedding Video at the Clifton Inn By Exist N Motion Films

You might remember Leslie and Ben from their wedding pictures we blogged a little while ago. Today we are excited to share their Clifton Inn wedding highlight reel by Exist N Motion Films! Leslie and Ben’s Charlottesville wedding video perfectly captures the enthusiasm and excitement throughout the day! It tells the story of the love, the commitment, and the celebration of two incredible people. I especially love the selection that was read at the ceremony that you will hear at the beginning of the video. Not to mention a lot of fun dancing and some epic bouquet and garter tosses!
