Kyle & Regan’s Fusion Wedding Film At Pippin Hill Farm – Charlottesville Wedding Videography

We are very proud to present Kyle and Regan’s Fusion Wedding Film! We have previously posted some of their wedding pictures, which included photographs of the gorgeous details and all the fun games they had for their guests, and now you can see what it was like to have been there on their wedding day! Kyle and Regan had a first look, and I was so happy they did that, because we had a lot of time before the guests arrived to take pictures and get video of the two of them all over the vineyard!
The weather was perfect, and Pippin Hill offered so many beautiful settings for every part of their wedding day. I love the shot of Kyle and Regan in the vineyard with the mountains behind them; it’s a great signature of a Virginia vineyard wedding. You can also hear Kyle and Regan’s vows to each other and listen to the terrific toasts given by the best man, the maid of honor and Kyle’s father. Kyle and Regan had a very unique exit, which was great for video, because sound was a very important aspect of it. You will see what I mean when you get to the end! Enjoy!

Charlottesville Wedding Videography – Rachel & Jeff’s Fusion Wedding Film

We are very excited to show you Rachel and Jeff’s Fusion Wedding Video! They were married at Prince Michel Vineyards, and they had their friend Jason officiate the ceremony. We put the words he spoke to Rachel and Jeff during the ceremony under the first part of the video, because it not only introduced Rachel and Jeff as a couple, but also seemed like a blessing for them and their new life together. Rachel and Jeff had a First Look in the beautiful vineyard at Prince Michel, and their ceremony was held in the wine cellar. They had so many fun details, like personalized M&M’s and keyboard letter magnets that spelled out ‘love’ as their favors. They personalized their wedding with catering from Qdoba, a slushy machine and Aaron Watson Photography‘s famous Crazybooth! Enjoy reliving Rachel and Jeff’s Wedding!

Alison and Jonathan’s Fusion Film

Back in October we had the honor of being a part of Alison and Jonathan’s wedding at the beautiful Kluge Vineyards. On the morning of the wedding we woke up to overcast skies and the weather forecast was hinting that we might be in for a dreary day. However when we arrived, we were blown away by the gorgeous scenery and as the day went on the weather turned out to be perfect! Alison & Jonathan did a great job planning their wedding with help from the awesome Megan Daubert who has quickly become one of my favorite wedding coordinators in Charlottesville. I would highly recommend her to anyone that is getting married and needs some help or guidance!

The ceremony was held outside of the beautiful Kluge church, underneath a canopy of trees and surrounded by the vineyard on three sides. It was the perfect backdrop for Alison & Jonathan’s fairytale wedding! As you will see in the fusion film it was a very tearful and touching ceremony, so afterwards everyone was ready to kickback and have some fun. The bridal party along with Alison & Jonathan kicked off the night in style as they busted out their best dance moves for the introductions.

I have to thank 20 South catering as once again they served up a delicious dinner with their trademark style. I always love working with them as not only is the food amazing, but the presentation is equally as spectacular. I always love the setup of the bar with their colorful lights, which often becomes the backdrop for my ring shots.

The toasts were heartfelt as each person shared a personal connection with Alison and Jonathan. The best man told us a story about how they playfully kidnapped Jonathan for his bachelor party weekend and how all of their careful planning went haywire. It was a little hard to take pictures as we were laughing almost as hard as Alison and Jonathan were! The maid of honor brought more tears to the room as she painted a picture of why Alison and Jonathan are so special and how they touch the people around them. We definitely felt that throughout the whole day!

At the end of the night everyone gathered outside the doors with sparklers to give the new couple an amazing send off. To complete the fairytale wedding Jonathan’s dad surprised them with a vintage Jaguar complete with a personal chauffeur!

As you will see, the energy throughout the day was amazing and provided for many awesome photos! I want to thank Alison & Jonathan again for letting us be a part of their wedding! We had such a great time and enjoyed meeting all of your family and friends! We hope you enjoy the fusion film!

Annie & Robbie’s Fusion Film

It’s finally here! We’ve been working on Annie & Robbie’s Fusion Film for over a month and I’m happy to say we put together what I think is one of our best films yet! I want to thank Ophelia Armengol and Kelsey Pace for their help with everything, and of course Annie and Robbie for having us be a part of their wedding day!

Heather & Chase’s Fusion Film

I’m really excited to share our brand new Fusion Film from Heather & Chase’s wedding! As much as I like the previous films we have produced, I knew we could top them and push our editing and shooting to an even higher level! Needless to say I think we achieved that and I feel this is our best work yet! My favorite part is when we did the big reveal before the ceremony and Chase’s mouth just drops when he looks at Heather for the first time! It was just an overall amazing day, and the scenery didn’t hurt either! I have to say Wintergreen is one of my favorite place for an outdoor wedding in this area, you just can’t beat the views!

Heather and Chase, Congratulations again! Thanks for having us be a part of your wonderful day! I hope you cherish this forever!

P.S. I just have to share Heather’s comment at the end of the night, after checking out a little slideshow of pictures we put together from earlier on in the day she told me, “The reality was nice, but the pictures made it look even better!” … That has to be the best compliment ever!

Megan & Geoff’s Fusion Film

Gorgeous! It’s the one word that comes to mind when I want to describe Megan & Geoff’s wedding!

Megan and Geoff = Gorgeous!

The Jefferson Hotel in Richmond, Va (where the were married) = Gorgeous!

The ceremony = Gorgeous!

The weather (at least when we were outside) = Gorgeous!

The reception = Gorgeous!

Hair, Makeup, Flowers = Gorgeous x3!

Windy Jennings (wedding planner extraordinaire) = Gorgeous and Awesome!

Their band, The Dickens = Handsome and Awesome!

… ok so gorgeous didn’t quite fit for everything, but you get the idea!

Megan and Geoff I’ve had the pleasure of knowing for awhile more than most couples as they booked me over a year and a half in advance! I’m so glad too as I’ve really enjoyed shooting not only their wedding, but also their engagement pictures, other weddings that they have been a part of, and we’ve had the occasional dinner together when I’ve been in Richmond! Through everything I’ve really seen how great they are together, and I’m really excited to share their Fusion Film with you so you can see what I am talking about!

I have to give props to Windy Jennings who did an awesome job helping them plan and carry out the celebration (while being very pregnant)! Also, props to their band The Dickens who I highly recommend if you want a rocking band for your wedding! We actually listened to their music while editing thanks to a direct feed recording that we have of them playing throughout the evening! Lastly, I want to thank Matt Ryb who came down from Baltimore and not only did an awesome job as a cinematographer, but also as my second photographer. Thanks to Thomas Dalton for helping with a little bit of everything, and Ashley Chipman & Ophelia Armengol for editing!

Annie & Robbie Part 2

You might remember Annie & Robbie from the recent pictures I posted. Well I also shot a little video, and over the last few days have been editing together a little film to surprise them with! This was the first one that I shot & edited by myself using the 5D Mark II and Final Cut Pro, which was really a feat since I know little about Final Cut except from what I picked up by looking over Ashley’s shoulder while she is editing. Grier & Tad’s Wedding … Fusion Style!

I am very excited to show you Grier & Tad’s wedding! For many reasons, but most of all because every time I watch this video I think of what an awesome couple they are and how blessed I was to be a part of their special day! … now before I start getting all teary eyed and stuff I want to thank Erin Manfredi, Ashley Chipman, and Kyle Patton who all were an awesome help and I could have not done this without them. You guys rock! Now to tell you a little bit about Grier & Tad’s wedding day …

One of my favorite places for weddings in Charlottesville is The Clifton Inn as everyone there is very nice and accommodating, the food is the best in all of Virginia (maybe the universe), and in the spring it is absolutely gorgeous with flowers galore! Grier & Tad were married on April 18th, 2009 which was perfect timing as all of the blossoms were just starting to peak! Pat’s Floral Design did a beautiful job bringing in additional floral arrangements for the bouquets, garters, and tent decorations.

The ceremony was very unique as Dave Norris, the mayor of Charlottesville, officiated his first wedding along with officiant extraordinaire Claire Goodman who local brides might know from the Charlottesville Wedding Blog and Sacred Ground Ceremonies. It was a very touching and heartfelt ceremony that had many choking up and a few tears being shed. Later on that evening the party kicked off with the Kings of Swing rocking out! I don’t think I had seen a 12 piece band play at a wedding until then … it was very impressive! To add a nice little touch the tent (from Skyline Tent Company) was adorned with beautiful lanterns that really made for an awesome and unforgettable atmosphere. I definitely recommend them for all weddings and I think you will see why when you watch the video!

With that said I would like to wish congratulations to Grier & Tad, and I hope you enjoy the film!
