We recently posted Jing and Jeff’s romantic proposal story, and awhile back we shared their gorgeous Richmond engagement pictures, and now we are so excited to show you a sneak peek of their Charlottesville wedding! Their wedding was held at the Boar’s Head Inn, who not only provided an amazing setting, but they also catered, coordinated, and made the cake for the event. Jing and Jeff’s wedding was full of friends, family, and beautiful colors, with no shortage of amazing DIY wedding details. They had personalized salt and pepper shakers, a vibrant “Just Married” sign made out of hearts, and, my personal favorite, miniature paintings that served as the place cards. Each one was HAND PAINTED by Jing, members of the bridal party and one of Jing’s incredibly talented friends! I am in LOVE with each painting, and incredibly impressed with the innovative idea.
Even though the day was a little rainy, Jing embraced the wet weather and sported cute yellow, polka-dot rain boots (and even got Jeff to hold a bright pink umbrella!) while they took pictures outside. There is just something so awesome about a bride who wears rain boots! However, I was also a big fan of Jing’s sparkly purple Kate Spade wedding heels which she put on for the ceremony and reception. The reception was beautiful, from the pink and yellow lantern lights adorning the ceiling to the stunning flower arrangements on the tables from Sugar Magnolias. The groom’s cake was one of the most original we have come across, with the Boar’s Head’s pastry chef Erinn making a cake that looked like a Starbucks Coffee Cup! We loved everything about Jing and Jeff’s wedding, and there are many more of their wonderful wedding pictures to come, so be sure to keep an eye out!
